JOINING THIS YEAR IN 2024…

Jason Potter

Jason grew up in a Christian family in the heart of rural South Australia and now resides with his lovely wife Rachelle and their four teenage children in Canberra. He Barracks for Collingwood but asks you kindly not to hold that against him.

Jason Potter is an experienced leader, author, pastor and educator currently serving as the national director of OAC Ministries Australia (Open Air Campaigners). Jason began his leadership journey at 17 when he was elected to the board of Belconnen Church of Christ in Canberra; he left home at 19 to work with Fusion Australia in Tasmania and began his first pastoral role at the age of 20 when he was appointed as the youth minister at Knoxfield church of Christ in Melbourne.

Since then, he has pastored local churches, held national and international leadership leadership roles if Christian ministry and launched an innovative local church-based educational model that is used by Bible Colleges around Australia.

Luke and Laura

Luke was born in the US and raised as a missionary kid in Liberia, Ethiopia, and Kenya, and Laura is a farm girl from Gippsland. They met in Niger in 2008 while working at a leprosy hospital, and after getting married they continued to feel God’s call on their lives to work with the unreached. They have four children (Addie, Emma, Austin, and Jessie), and currently serve in a Central African country where they have been focusing on language (French and Arabic) and cultural learning.  They are involved in vulnerable women’s ministry and trauma healing, along with healthcare and community health work. They seek to share Christ’s love and empower others to do the same among the least reached. They will be on home assignment in Australia for this year.
